Stough Canyon Urban Wildlife Event 2017

Adrine, Brian, Korinna, Johanna

We had a great time at the Stough Canyon Urban Wildlife Event on Saturday, June 24. The community joined us for a 3 part lecture series featuring Adrine Ovasapyan, Johanna Turner, and myself. Folks explored the education center and took pictures in the urban wildlife photo booth.

I presented findings from my 6 month long camera trap study and Johanna Turner from Cougarmagic weaved us through her discovery of P-41, a mountain lion living in the Verdugo mountains. Adrine Ovasapyan from the Burbank Nature Center informed the audience about the history of Stough Canyon Nature Center and their current outreach and education programs. Thank you so much to everyone who attended the event. Your support means a lot!

Thanks to LoveAngelesPhotoBooths.com for sponsoring the event! Be sure to check out the pictures from the awesome green screen photo station here.
